Hibee: Do we know where these managers are coming from?

Hibee: What was your approach to starting Sorare?

I played the Rookie League for quite a while and then invested in my first Rare Team. In May & June, I kept my approach from the beginning to buy young players to have a good U23 team. Still, I did not want to over-invest. After I realized that if I paid a little bit more then I can get more rewards so I did. My team is pretty strong at the moment.

It is really important to not look to people who have large galleries if you do not have money to afford a competitive team against them, but I advise you to focus on your enjoyment that will finally payout.

Hibee: A lot of people are coming on the platform by thinking "I need to jump in NOW," but there are a lot of different things you need to understand such as the scores & other parameters to take into consideration to perform as much as possible.

I do not know a lot of people in real life, but virtually yes, I built a strong network. For example, I got an edge from Asia by knowing the good people and getting the best information.

The first connections that you made are critical.

It is better, IMO to go for quality over quantity if we speak about Sorare cards.

One month ago I learned that I can train more than one team per week.

YNWA: Do you play domestic games in Germany like in English FPL? Are there similar backgrounds like poker players or other trends you see from new German managers coming into Sorare?

Yes and no :) It was never meant for investment or collectible aspects.

YNWA: I think that a tool like SorareData helped a lot with that.

SorareData is the most used website by new German Sorare managers.

What I like is the lineup builder. For me, SorareData is THE tool to master. I know also that there are a lot of features I do not exploit at the maximum potential, but the more you master, the better rewards you get.

I hope that the excellent developer team from Sorare will continue to increase the utility and reduce the DNPs.

YNWA: From just a supply point of view, if the Bundesliga manager's number is growing faster, then we could see a disparity of card prices because of that in the future.

For sure, I agree.

Moments

I would like to see moves available for a player as well as for special goals speaking about moments.

YNWA: I do not think we won't appreciate the value of the goal of the year until 5 years after. In 2 years, I think a lot of people will regret to have not picked up a Zanetti at the current price.

I am working myself to get the first Legends cards with moments on the back of the cards.

Moreover, my first card that will get a moment, I would probably never sell.

Playing its best game

I really like competing with other people by using the same deck of cards because it shows my skills. That's why I admire Professor Tekkers.

Hibee: That was amazing speaking about fairness and Top-Shot. We can predict huge success for these kinds of 3rd-party games like that.

At the moment, if you play the top 6 teams in Germany, you can win lots of rewards on Sorare, and I will look attentively at 2 or 3 players that will get good scores regularly. My main focus is Liepzing & Dortmund, if there are reasonable prices, I will definitely buy.

It's essential to enjoy the game and not go against your emotions.

Hibee: I think a lot of us have improved our football knowledge, and that is something we need to continue to work on if we want to be successful.

Yes, I also looked attentively at the coach's performances. That is an important metric to take into account while playing Sorare. For example, BSC Berlin is struggling for the moment, and I think that looking at their players is a great opportunity to buy now and sell later for a profit.

Hibee: I think Fribourg is also a team that interests me.

For the moment, we have the most vital 2nd League at the moment, and I wait the time for Sorare to add it to the platform to get an additional edge. We will see how the game develops. Creating sub-leagues can generate interest.
